At this point I've showered through twenty of these filters without a problem. I once tried to smash one open to examine the inside (an expired one, of course). I used a hammer and gave it several blows. Would you believe that the plastic would not crack? I cannot understand anyone saying that this item is poorly made. I am very satisfied with this product which I use to ward off the harmful effects of chlorine.

Installation: Follow the instructions; you should be okay. You're going to need teflon tape, otherwise known as "plumber's tape". This is an ultra thin white tape which assures a good connection, available at any hardware store, Lowes or Home Depot. Buy it, then ask someone in the plumbing department to show you how to use it.

The adjustable showerhead was too snug at first, but eventually loosened so that it could easily be turned left, right, up or down. Absolutely no loss in water pressure, quite possibly even stronger. The variance is from needle shower to wide spray; I generally use something in between, though I do appreciate a good needle shower every once in a while. Care to join me? Please respond.
