While not trying to make fun of the last reviewer, these are best left installed by someone willing to read the directions and remove the water saver washer if desired. As someone commented on his review, removal would boost the out flow going from 1/8 to 3/8 hole or allow THREE TIMES the water output. Why leave it in there? Because with decent pressure you may find you don't need that extra water (expense). In our case we removed it but turn down the water pressure--since we have separate knobs for hot & cold we can do that.

Anyway, back to the product at hand. Danze--not a name many folks recognize yet so they think it must be cheap or at least not as nice as the big brands. What they don't know is that many stores don't carry Danze yet because of the (normal) cost and because it makes other products (with more profit) look embarrassing. The second you hold a Danze facet or showerhead you understand INSTANTLY it is quality. There is no mistaking the solid feel of brass or the tell-tell weight that a quality fixture has. At first my contractor said he won't use the items I had purchased since they weren't a brand he had heard of. Within 20 seconds of holding one of them, he said this will be no problem. A month later he asked me to get him a set after he couldn't find them locally. Now sadly, that was before Amazon started offering these products so I paid about twice the asking price here for the showerheads and a lot more then the going price for the faucets, yet I don't regret my purchase for one second. The experience when I use them early in the morning still brings a smile to my face years later. And they have held up perfectly. Now sadly I can not say the same thing about my Delta kitchen facet or the Moen set we have in the guest quarters--they were purchased before we discovered Danze.

This showerhead does exactly what it is supposed to. From the moment you turn it on, you are lost in a sea of relaxation and the outside world just melts away. In our master bath we installed two of these in the shower so you are enclosed in a world of water--not hard pressure--just like you are underwater, yet able to breath. Sadly these have extended our shower times as it is hard to turn that knob off to join the real world, but then that is a nice problem.
